A Word from our President:

Hello, the Queen City Sampler Guild is rich in the tradition of offering classes and events to promote the art of needlework, focusing on samplers, and 2008 is no exception.  Adele Grout has put together an excellent lineup of events, please take a moment to check out our calendar.  If you are not a member of the guild, we do open some classes and events to non-members, so please let us know if you would like to attend.  We encourage you to join us at an event to see first hand what the guild is all about.  You not only have the opportunity to possibly enhance your needlework skills, but will undoubtedly make a few new friends along the way – bonded by the love of needlework.

A Word about our 2008 Programs:

Welcome, to our program offerings for 2008. We are happy to offer Guild Members several programs featuring some of the finest teachers known in the United States and internationally. The first class with Barbara Rakosnik was a complete success. Check out the pictures and write up on the class.

The April lecture with Carol Humphrey was cancelled. The next guild activity will be the Spring Stitch-in, Saturday, May 17th at Phillipi Hall in Lebanon. Bring your favorite stitching piece and join us.

A Word from our Newsletter Editor:

Queen City Sampler is published six times a year: January, March, July, September and November. We welcome your input and comments, especially ideas and articles.
