The 2021 Calendars are available under Calendars from the menu at the top of your screen. Every calendar has the times and locations for each of the 2021 meetings, workshops, and stitch-ins (or will have the latter when we can resume meeting in person). If you need directions, check the Meeting Locations section of the website. All locations have a link to Google Maps to help you get to each one.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, while ALL Face-to-Face QCSG meetings and activities are cancelled for the time being, there is a chance Madeira will reopen to us in May for stitch-ins. HOWEVER, you are required by Madeira to agree to and sign their COVID waiver. According to Madeira, "This form lets us know you are aware of the need for social distancing as well as relieving the City of any liability in case someone contracts COVID while using the facility." If you choose to come, you must sign the form and bring it with you, available here. In the meantime, check your email for Zoom invitations which are generally emailed out two days before a meeting or other event! Look for any other further updates via email and on our Facebook page. We have more fun stuff planned for 2021.
In April, we will have two lecture opportunities, one on April 14 with Liz Almond (Islamic Inspiration in Blackwork), as we join Dayton EGA. The other will be on April 17 with Barbara Hutson of Queenstown Samplers (Dayton and Cincinnati samplers) as she shows us some of the samplers from her fabulous collection. Zoom invitations will be sent out on April 12 and 15, respectively.
If you are interested in joining our Guild, the the 2021 Membership form is now available. So join us! When we are back to meeting Face-to-Face, if you would like to come as a guest to one of our meetings or stitch-ins before you join, please check the Calendar at the top of this page and come visit us. In the meantime, the calendar for 2021 will become available on New Year's Eve and will show a LOT of wonderful things are in the works!
